The rooms were amazing. We stayed in the Gold Suite. They were decorated with paintings and sculptures. There were TVs in both the bedroom and the living room. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was delicious, buffet style with hot and cold foods (eggs, bacon, sausage, etc.). a/c was ok.
The air conditioning came from under the windows. So if you close the curtains you're cutting off your cool air. The internet worked well enough, but it was fairly slow.

My stay at St. George Residence was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is located in a beautiful area, just a short walk away from St. Mathias cathedral where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city. The suite I stayed in was incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated. The staff at the hotel were friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Even though there is no elevator, they were more than happy to assist with my luggage. I had a wonderful experience at St. George Residence and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Budapest.

The rooms and the design of the hotel are superb and the services excellent!
The breakfast is not exactly at 5 stars standards.

The fact that the hotel room had a kitchenette allowing us to return to the hotel at lunch time to make sandwiches and have a rest before continuing with sightseeing and also being able to make a hot drink before going to bed. The location was simply superb - convenient for exploring Budapest with good transport links but in a virtually pedestrianised area so there was no traffic noise. A wonderful calm oasis for a city break. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The meal in the hotel restaurant was excellent but took a long time to arrive but they were very busy! The breakfast menu was not as varied as expected for a five star hotel but if you had a special request the staff obliged. The hotel decor was tasteful and elegant but a comfy sofa to relax upon would have been welcome.

This is a very good hotel with attentive and responsive staff. I would recommend it to anyone. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated. While I am not a fan of the types of furniture (all very solid reproductions of 18th and 19th century furniture) everything was comfortable. It is a small boutique hotel with a very good restaurant and we had a great stay.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious, clean and luxurious. The included breakfast was one of the better we had during our 4 week holiday throughout Europe. We also appreciated that the hotel provided free internet. The hotel was in a lovely area, close to many historical sites and attractions.
The shower head would have been more convenient for us had it been wall mounted. A further area for development would be to install wireless internet, rather than cable.
